One teacher splits knowledge in 2. The lower kind holds all 4 Vedas, plus grammar, ritual and astrology. The higher kind is whatever lets you grasp what never perishes. “Unsafe boats, however, are these sacrificial forms”, and they carry you back to old age and death.
